  1. When you are entering a lot of similar addresses, you can make Address Book Plus carry over selected field values to the next new entry.

Let’s say you are entering all your Power Up business contacts:  Each entry has the same values for Company, Address, City, State, Code, Country, and Work Phone.  Rather than type the same information over and over, choose Data Entry Preferences from the Entry menu and click Field Value Retention.  The list shows all the fields in the Data Entry dialog box.  Click next to the fields whose values you want to carry over and click OK.

  5. When you have finished entering this group of people, go back to the Data Entry Preferences dialog box and click the Do Not Retain column for those values.
